July 23, 2011 - Glacier National Park

Today we spent the day at Glacier National Park. It was gorgeous. We could not drive our RV through the park because we were to big for the small road so we rode their free shuttle and would get off at different stops and hike a little then get back on and go somewhere else. It was so pretty and very nice day. The day before it rained all day so we spent the day in the RV playing cards and watching movies. It was fun to have a down day and relax.

They had 18 feet of snow this year at Glacier and only got the road to the top opened on July 13th which is the lastest they ever got it opened. The building in the picture below was covered with snow this year.

This water was so greenish blue and so pretty.

We stopped at the National Bison Reserve and got to see lots of buffalo and their babies.

We are now starting our long trek back home. So I probably won't be adding anymore pictures to the blog. We should be home towards the end of the week. It has been a wonderful trip. Thank you for following us out west. See you all soon.

July 21, 2011 - Trailhead Christian Fellowship Church

Today we started heading to Glacier National Park and on the way we stopped by Trailhead Christian Fellowship Church to see it. This is the church that Earl went out to help build a few years ago. The setting is right along a lake and it is beautiful.

Some prairie dogs at the church.

Views as we headed to Glacier.

We are doing a lot of family bonding and that includes a lot of hoss games.

Here are some views of Beartooth Pass in Wyoming & Montana

The water is so blue in these lakes.

There was so much snow still around at the top.

Doesn't seem like July. The weather has been amazing.

How can a flower grow in the middle of a rock?

We stopped a Corky & Clarice Hedrick's ranch, which was the ranch that Earl went to twice to help with rebuilding fencing from a wild fire in 2006. We had a very nice visit with them.

July 17, 2011 - Jackson Hole, WY

We got our first look today at the Tetons. They were also amazing. Everything out here is amazing. We will see more of the Tetons tomorrow on our way to Yellowstone. We had supper tonight at Bar J Chuckwagon. Ryan and I had ribs and Earl and Danita had chicken. We also had bake beans, chunky applesauce, biscuit, baked potatoe, and spice cake. It was really good then we saw a music and comedy show it was so good. We were sitting beside some people that are from Exton, PA and are staying at the same campground we are tonight. It was fun talking to them and finding out what all they are doing and going to do. They are headed to Yellowstone tomorrow also.
